The SfN Singapore Chapter (SfN.SG) is a non-profit focused on fostering neuroscience research, collaboration, and education in Singapore. Established in the early 2000s, it was revitalised in 2018. Today, President Caroline Wee, Secretary Cao Mian, and Treasurer Chris Asplund (all elected in 2024) lead the Chapter with over 400 members.
SfN.SG is dedicated to inclusivity and promotes equitable representation across all aspects of neuroscience - institutions, topics, gender, and career stages, to name a few. Their annual symposium, held at different institutes across Singapore, showcases diverse research and fosters collaboration. Beyond the symposium, SfN.SG organizes workshops, seminar series, fortnightly newsletters, member directories, and social gatherings to connect members and promote knowledge exchange.
